 Try to build the view same as below

In the below view i am showing category wise and year wise sum of sales along with user selection of Category/Sub-category parameter

If user selects category in Category/Sub-category parameter need to show category level data

If user selects Sub-category in Category/Sub-category parameter need to show sub-category level data

If user selects any Category in the view level it needs to show particular Category wise Sub-Category wise sales

If user selects any Sub-category in the view level it needs to show particular Sub-Category wise Category wise sales
